Common questions

What does the HM Land Registry CCOD cover?
The Commercial and Corporate Ownership Dataset (CCOD) contains the titles of all freehold and leasehold land and property in England and Wales where the registered proprietor is a corporate entity — a company, LLP or other non-individual. It does not include titles owned by private individuals, charities or overseas companies (those are in the separate OCOD). OC Corporate includes both CCOD and OCOD datasets.
Can I find all property owned by a company group?
You can search each subsidiary separately by name or registration number. OC Corporate does not currently aggregate group-level property holdings automatically, but you can search each entity in a group structure and compile the results. The company profile shows subsidiary relationships where they appear in Companies House data.
How often is the Land Registry data updated?
Land Registry data in OC Corporate is refreshed monthly from the official HM Land Registry dataset releases. This means recent property transactions may take up to a month to appear.
Does this cover Scotland or Northern Ireland?
No. The HM Land Registry CCOD covers England and Wales only. Scotland has a separate land register (Registers of Scotland) and Northern Ireland has its own land registry — neither is currently included.
