What's the difference between OC Political and OC Corporate?
OC Political starts from politics — MPs' interests, donations, networks — and cross-references companies and contracts. OC Corporate starts from companies — 5.2M Companies House records, directors, PSCs, land registry — and surfaces contracts and donations within each profile. Both run on the same dataset but serve different research workflows.
Who is OC ESOS designed for?
OC ESOS is built for utility brokers, energy consultants and sales teams who need to identify and target large energy buyers. Every organisation in the ESOS register has 250+ employees or exceeds the £44m turnover / £38m balance sheet threshold — all confirmed large energy buyers. The platform shows their energy consumption, savings potential, financial profile and Company House data so you can qualify and prioritise prospects before reaching out. CSV export lets you move directly from the platform into your CRM.
What is ESOS and where does the data come from?
ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) is a mandatory UK energy assessment scheme for large organisations. The compliance register is published by the Environment Agency under the Open Government Licence and is available at data.gov.uk. OC ESOS enriches this data with financial profiles from Companies House so every record shows not just energy consumption but also turnover, total assets and employee count. Phase 4 data will be added as standard when published in 2027.
